We made Poncho’s for our teddy bears.  First we designed them then made a pattern out of paper.  Next we cut the material using the pattern.  We practised sewing, before sewing our ponchos, so that we had experience of what to do.  We then sewed the ponchos together and finally glued pieces of material on to make a repeated pattern.

We celebrated World Book day.  We paid one pound to come to school dressed as a character from our favourite books.  Our work for the day was based around the author Colin McNaughton, who wrote the books, Suddenly!, Whee!, Goal! and Pooh!.  We really enjoyed reading the books and writing how we thought the book should end.
