Enrichment
There are many extra activities available to the children to support a broad and balanced curriculum.
We have our own Forest School. The Forest School Association describes these as, "an inspirational process, that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees." Throughout each year, children have opportunities to go on trips, including a residential trip in Year 6, to support curriculum topics. There are also many in-school opportunities, such as visitors and plays.
We have a choir, which takes part in various performances during the year and our children compete in sports tournaments.
We also provide some clubs run by our own staff and also host clubs run by external providers, which require a fee.
The clubs on offer change from term to term. Below is an idea of the sort of club's that are run.
