School Council
The school council is a group of children who are elected to represent the views of all pupils and to improve our school. They meet regularly with Miss Hodges and Miss King (the Link Teachers) to discuss issues that arise and to make suggestions to the headteacher.
You can find out more about School Council's here.
Elections take place during the first half term of each year. They take place on a Thursday and with the help of local town and borough councillors, we make them as close to the 'real thing' as possible. Candidates write manifestos, there are hustings and we borrow ballot boxes and booths from Bracknell Forest Council.
The Councillors elected for the 2021-22 School Year are:
Year 1: Robyn Cottrell and Dexter Petley
Year 2: Amelie Dodd and Austin Murdoch
Year 3: Keira Boelsen and Freya Taylor
Year 4: Lacey Haworth and Mladen Darylanov
Year 5: Osker Booton and Ayan Mehmood
Year 6: Natalia Boureanu and Finley Newell
One of the most important jobs the School Council does is to make a statement about how bullying is not tolerated at Crown Wood Primary School. This is in the form on an Anti-Bullying Charter. You can find out more here.
