Crown Wood Primary School is an academy within The Greenshaw Learning Trust (GLT) and the Greenshaw Learning Trust is the admissions authority for the school.

Entry into Reception Classes

For entry into Reception Class in September 2024:  Parents must submit their Common Application Form stating their preferred schools to Bracknell Forest Council (or their 'home' Local Authority, if outside Bracknell Forest) no later than 15 January 2024.  Appeals for entry to Reception in September 2024 must be received by 25 May 2024.

 In-Year Applications

Crown Wood Primary School is part of Bracknell Forest Council's Co-ordinated Admissions Scheme for In-Year Admissions.  Applications for admission to Reception after 1^st September and for admission into Years 1 to 6 must be made to the Local Authority in which the school is situated using their 'In-Year Application Form'.  If you wish to apply for a place at Crown Wood Primary School you must name the school as one of your preferences on the application form and return  it to Bracknell Forest Council .

Where there are more applicants than places available, the school will maintain a waiting list according to the oversubscription criteria detailed in the school’s admission arrangements without regard to the date the application was received or when a child’s name was added to the waiting list.

Positions on the waiting lists may go down as well as up.  This is because other children might be added to the waiting list who have a greater priority for a place against the school’s admission criteria; for example, when new families move into the area or when other families who had not previously named Crown Wood Primary School as a preference, ask to go on the waiting list after the initial allocations date.
